Mikkel Jensen
Mikkel Jensen (born January 6 1977) is a Denmark football (soccer) player, who has played as a midfielder and is the captain (football) for Hammarby IF in Stockholm since 2002. Jensen has played 22 matches for the Denmark under-21 national football team, including four games as captain (football), and was named 1998 Danish Football Association Young Players of the Year.

Jensen has played 22 matches for the Denmark under-21 national football team, including four games as captain (football), and was named 1998 Danish Football Association Young Players of the Year.
He started his senior career for Danish team Brøndby IF, with whom he won the Danish Superliga 1997-98 and Danish Superliga 2001-02 championships. When Brøndby hired new manager Michael Laudrup in the summer 2002, Jensen was one of several players deemed surplus. He had a short stop at league rivals FC Midtjylland, before moving abroad to play for Sweden club Hammarby IF.
