Suleyman Sleyman is a Sweden association football Defender (football) of Aramean-Syriac people origin who currently plays for Hammarby IF in Stockholm. With a degree in economics, he works part-time as an auditor for Ernst & Young.
He changed his name from Suleyman Varli in 1998.
He signed a new contract with Hammarby in September 2007, which expires at the end of the 2008 season.
He scored his first goal for Hammarby in August 2008, after almost ten years in the club, in the derby were Hammarby faced AIK, 2-2.
