Club Deportivo Leganés, S.A.D. are a Spanish football league teams from Leganes, in the Madrid outskirts. Founded on June 26, 1928, they currently play in
Segunda División B. They play in white shirts with blue stripes, and white shorts. Their home stadium is the
Estadio de Butarque, which seats 8,000 spectators.
Leganés traditionally played in the lower leagues. In 1977 they regained promotion back to Tercera División, where they had played before for seven years. In 1983, the side was promoted again and, between 1993 and 2004 was part of
Segunda División, which was the highest flight of its history.
