Giresunspor is a Turkey football (soccer) club, firstly founded in 1925 and formed in 1967 after the merger Yeşiltepespor, Akıngençlikspor, and Beşiktaşspor. The football club played in the TFF 2. League in 2006-2007 and became 1st of 4th Classificiment Group and participitated to Extra Play-Off matches. Finally beaten Adana Demirspor 5-1 in the final and was promoted to TFF 1. League. Giresunspor played also Turkcell Super League between 1971 and 1977.
