FK Jūrmala-VV is a Latvian football club, playing in the top division of Latvian football. They are from the city of Jūrmala.
History
FK Jūrmala was founded in 2003 and its goals included creating a club infrastructure, building a modern stadium in Sloka and popularization of sports among children and youth of Jūrmala.
In its first season FK Jūrmala played in the second highest division of Latvian football where it won the first place and qualified for Virslīga for the next year. In the first season in Virslīga Jūrmala finished fifth. However, despite serious ambitions from FK Jurmala management and signing several former Latvia national football team players in the following seasons FK Jūrmala couldn't step up to the next level and in 2007 FK Jurmala suffered a financial crisis when some of its top players left FK Jurmala in mid season.
