Bosnia-Herzegovina - Bosnia & Herzegovina FF
The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (,
NSBiH; Serbian language: Фудбалски савез Босне и Херцеговине, ФСБиХ or
Fudbalski Savez Bosne i Hercegovine,
FSBiH); ,
NSBiH; is the chief officiating body of football (soccer) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It operates the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-21 football team, and other national selections.
Controversy
The Bosnian Football Federation is widely unpopular and reviled among Bosnian football fans. It has been accused of corruption (match fixing and graft) and some of its chief leaders have openly displayed hostility to the national team (eg. the former president of the federation Milan Jelić openly rooted for Serbia when the two countries played and his successor Iljo Dominković rooted for Croatia. The general secretary of the federation, Munib Ušanović is currently under indictment for corruption (tax evasion and abuse of office).
Protests against the federation are common and anti-federation graffiti is everpresent in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
