Hong Kong - The Hong Kong Football Association Ltd.
The Hong Kong Football Association is the governing body of football in Hong Kong.
Established in 1914, the HKFA organizes several football competitions, which are probably the oldest ones in Asia, for all the professionals, amateurs and youngsters in Hong Kong.
In 1954, the HKFA joined FIFA, and was also one of twelve founding associations of the Asian Football Confederation. Hong Kong took an important part in the early development of Asian football, and was given the honour of holding the first Asian Cup competition in 1956.
The HKFA is also responsible for operating the Hong Kong, China national football team.
The HKFA is currently led by the Hon. Timothy Fok SBS JP.
